Grade Summary
Evatane 28-05 combines 28% vinyl acetate with a low melt flow index of 5 g/10 min, giving the resin strong melt strength and high internal cohesion. This makes it a dependable choice for blown and cast film as well as hot melt adhesives that must hold load.
Typical uses include film extrusion, high-cohesion hot melt base, masterbatch carrier and halogen-free flame-retardant compounds.

Processing

Dry pellets before processing to avoid surface defects. Store in a dry area to preserve melt stability.
Low MFI needs higher torque; set barrel temperatures around the melt point with gradual ramp to avoid thermal degradation.
Suitable for blown and cast film. Adjust blow-up ratio and chill-roll temperature to balance strength and clarity.
Blend with tackifier and wax to tune open time and adhesion for structural bonding.
