Evatane 28-25: Medium-Flow EVA

Evatane 28-25 sits in the middle of the Evatane EVA flow range. With 28% vinyl acetate and a melt flow index of about 25 g/10 min, it offers a practical balance between processability and final properties.

Property Profile

• VA 28% (27-29%) — flexibility with good polarity.
• MFI 25 (22-29) — medium flow for pumping and coating.
• Density 0.950 g/cm³, melting point 71 °C, Shore A 75.
• Elongation 800-1000%, tensile strength about 14 MPa.

Why Medium Flow Matters

Compared with low-MFI grades, 28-25 moves through hot melt lines, slot-die coaters and laminators with less heat and pressure. Compared with ultra-high-flow grades, it keeps enough body to build cohesive bonds. That middle ground is why it is a common general-purpose choice.

General packaging hot melt, film extrusion, masterbatch carrier and halogen-free flame-retardant compounds.
